OBJECTIVE: LinkedIn wants increase user engagement by making the mobile app a one-stop destination for contact management and networking. 

 

SOLUTIONA feature that could help facilitate the exchange of contact information at conferences and meetings, make a quick note regarding the interaction, and remind the user to follow up with the new connection.

Research information on LinkedIn is currently used to help inform design decisions



COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS

A comparative analysis was done with competitors of LinkedIn to determine general differences find trends. Facebook was the most unique of the competitors because it's professional job search site, yet a lot of networking is done within the social network. 


User Persona


Card sorting: We compared  similar brands/ companies and tried to understand what made them successful.

The team went over key features for the product. We made it a focus to keep users privacy a high priority.
