Pediatric Caregiver
Website for parents, guardians or caregivers to manage their Xyrem pediatric patient.
Role: AI, User flows, Wireframe development
tHE STORY
The client was running a new campaign for their narcolepsy treatment product for pediatric patients. The client wanted to create a complimentary website for caregivers. A place for caregivers and guardians to manage general patient information and what other caregivers that are currently aiding the same patient. What made this project a tad bit simpler was, this site would be using a lot of structures of the general (adult XYREM). Which meant, we would adding some new set of content, and general restructuring of the original information architecture.
Getting started
Starting off, we knew the site was for patients and Caregivers of patients. So we had an understanding of how to approach the project. Second was establishing what was being done.
We made of list of actions being done on the site. Which were, Viewing, adding, and removing of team members, and editing patient data. Then came the part of figuring who could do what on the site. We broke the roles down to a single Administrator and multiple team member. Meaning, whether it was a patient or caregiver, each had certain abilities they could do.
I created a graph to demonstrate how the roles work.
The Flows
As a UX Designer, users flows are the most exciting time of the projects. You finally get to sit down and figure how things will play out
One of the first objectives was to find out the flow how an an administrator would View, add, and remove team members. Shown below*
Note: with the current state of the project. This is all I can show at the moment.
Designing
Since this project was a modification of the previous product site. A lot of the new screens and flows were new paths for caregivers to use an account with specified language involving pediatric patients. Below I added some single pages how that looked like.
Note: The wireframes were created by me
I am (Caregiver) Selection Flow UX: Wireframes
The wireframes below show the first part of a creation of a caregiver profile. User selects what role they want to continue as, they select Caregiver and move to adding their patients information. Once they complete the patient information they are moved on to the standard profile creation.
We understood that it was important for the caregiver to offer their patients treatment start date early in the process because it was one of the main reasons they would join the site. The previous iteration of the site left that for the end of the end of the profile creation.
Complete Caregiver(Administrator) profile: Wireframes
The complete profile is split into the tabs or sections; Profile with all the caregivers information, Caregiver Team which allows for editing of team and patient information, and a notification sectionfor alerts about the product or information changes.
Note: Currently I have no access to the UI content for the site.
